Windward: Finalist for the 2015 IES&BD Sales & Business Development A

Windward Consulting Group announced it has been selected as a finalist for the Fifth Annual Institute for Excellence in Sales & Business Development (IES&BD) Awards in the Sales Training award category. The award winners will be announced at the IES&BD Award breakfast gala on June 11 at the USA Today Headquarters Building in Tyson’s Corner, VA.

“I am very proud of our Ninja Sales Training Program,” said Sean McDermott, CEO of Windward. “We have taken a holistic approach and developed a comprehensive training that focuses on areas that are critical to our success: Understanding the customers’ issues, impact, and desired results. By building skills that have transformed the way we sell our services both tactically and strategically, we have seen a 25% increase in sales year over year, and current projections are in line for this type of growth to continue. Training is an integral part of our business and every employee, regardless of their role, is welcome to participate.”

Awards will be presented in five categories recognizing sales and business development operational excellence. Partners, customers, or clients nominated all finalists. The five categories are for organizational excellence in: Sales Innovation; Team Building, Management, and Development; Sales Training; Customer Partnering; and Strategic Alliances.
